Miljan Minic – Clarinet

He was born in Belgrade, but completed his academic career in Italy by obtaining a Bachelor’s degree cum laude in 2015 at the Conservatory of Perugia with M° Saracca. 

He won international competitions as a soloist (2nd prize in the international competition “Città di Camerino 2014”, 3rd prize in the international clarinet competition “Samnium” 2017, 3rd prize in the international competition “Ciro Scarponi” 2018) and in chamber music (3rd prize in the international competition “Val Tidone” 2019). 

He has given several solo concerts (Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Galleria Nazionale Umbra in Perugia) and in orchestra, in important Italian theatres and halls. He has also dedicated himself to traditional Serbian music, playing in various tours around the world (Europe, Taiwan, China). 

Winner of the “Rotary Piacenza” scholarship for A.A. 2016/17 and “Premio Pakosky” in trio for two consecutive years (A.A 2017/18 and A.A 2018/2019).

He followed masterclasses with Ricardo Morales, Alessandro Carbonare, Nicola Bulfone, Caroline Hartig, Lorenzo Coppola, Shirley Brill, Giovanni Punzi and Wenzel Fuchs.

He gave a solo concert accompanied by the orchestra of the Conservatory “G. Nicolini” of Piacenza in December 2018.

He graduated in clarinet in 2018 at the Conservatory “G. Nicolini” of Piacenza with honors under the guidance of Maestro Paolo Beltramini and in chamber music in 2019, again with honors, under the guidance of Maestro Marco Decimo.
